This week we have a couple of real treats on episode 185 of Beam Me Up.
First up is a unique music compilation using quote from leading scientists put together by symphonyofscience.com - The Symphony of Science is a musical project by John Boswell designed to deliver scientific knowledge and philosophy in musical form. A pretty damn entertaining form I might add.
Roy joins me again to review The End of the Century by Chris Roberson and I go to the blog for my review of the DVD movie - The Fountain.
Two great stories are in the mix as well. From Shaun Saunders is a quiet piece detailing humanity as a whole becoming sane for a short while - called "Murmurs". Our closing story is a cautionary tale from David Siegel Bernstein called "Identity Theft". Takes us to a not so different future where hacking software has become ever so much more sophisticated - but what happens when it starts making choices for it's own benefit?
So pull the blanket up, throw another log in the fire-place. Break out the hot-chocolate and marshmallows and settle in for an entertaining hour of of science fiction stories and reviews with Beam Me Up!
