Are you ready for the start of the silly season on Beam Me Up? Well good, because we have an hour jam paced with good old fashion strangeness. Our first story is by Tim Sayell reading his very funny "A Single Snapped String" Sayell loves to play with words so you will get a good measure with this short tale.
We close the hour by revisiting Colin P. Davies' Pestworld with an exclusive five part tale called The Monster on Mandrake Street. Davies takes out all the stops in this new story. Intrigue, double dealing, cheating, mystery - you get it all!
From the blog, I review the DVD Hancock, the book Implied Spaces by Walter Jon Williams. Abandoned Towers makes a special deal for listeners of BMU, Ripley's power loader suit is now real! and the top 10 unexplained phenomena.
Please break out your weirdness goggles for this weeks trip in to the strangeness zone that is Beam Me Up!
