Beam Me Up continues to grow. This new growth puts demands on our bandwidth. To keep up with demand I have added more bandwidth and storage space - all of which costs. The theme of the show is discussion of current science fiction material. I have ongoing conversations about current, new and classic science fiction - what is currently in the theaters, in print and television. Also I like to include science articles that are just out there far enough that I think might influence new science fiction. As time permits, I play as much quality audio science fiction as I can. At least one or two stories during the show. Often I use fiction that has been released under Creative Commons or that material that might be in the public domain but often I ask the authors directly if I can broadcast their short stories.
