Email me at beammeup@gwi.net Beam Me Up podcast is the recorded version of the live radio program originating from WRFR lp/fm 93.3 in Rockland Maine each Saturday at 4pm. We stream the show from http://www.wrfr.org in real time as well. (select Live Steam from the main wrfr page) The theme of the show is discussion of current science fiction material. We have ongoing conversations about current, new and classic science fiction - what is currently in the theaters, in print and television. Also I like to include science articles that are just out there far enough that I think might influence new science fiction. As time permits, we play as much quality audio science fiction as we can. At least one or two stories during the show. Often I use fiction that has been released under Creative Commons or that material that might be in the public domain but often I ask the authors directly if we can broadcast their short stories.
